Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett plays the hard-driving Schlafly, an unyielding political force who takes on Gloria Steinem, Betty Friedan, Shirley Chisholm and Bella Abzug. Each episode of the new miniseries on FX gives one of the women a moment to shine, but it’s Blanchett’s Schlafly who dominates. She’s a force – just as Phyllis was – and quite likely the leading contender for next year’s Emmy.

The seven-part documentary has so much jaw-dropping information to impart, it’s impossible to leave, even if the editing and storytelling leaves a little to be desired. Also this week we get “Trolls World Tour,” the animated sequel that was expected to rock theaters – if it had been able to open there. While the kids will love the film’s colorful animation, parents will like the way it gets you up off the couch and into move mode.
