Black smoke continues to rise from Indiana recycling plant nearly two days after fire

Authorities have evacuated the area immediately surrounding the fire, forcing anyone within half-a-mile of the fire to leave. Now state and federal agencies are getting involved, including the Environmental Protection Agency. And that’s because they say the black smoke erupting out of the inferno is highly toxic.
