Letter: Glad to read about Romar’s faith

Re: the April 20 article “Romar's move to Wildcats' bench all part of the plan”

Thanks, Bruce Pascoe, for the article on Lorenzo Romar, and for not downplaying the role that his Christian faith has made in his life. I appreciate that he will bring not only a great basketball mind to the team next year, but also a depth of character that will be appreciated by the players and families of the recruits. 

The other outspoken-in-their-faith coaches at UA (think Jerry Kindall) have done pretty well, and I have no doubt that Coach Romar will contribute significantly in all ways. And kudos to Sean Miller for recognizing that character counts and pursuing Romar for the position. It’s a win-win for the Wildcats.
