Can there be any worse roads than right here in my neighborhood? Certainly not Phoenix! I have come to take them for granted as I carefully dodge from pothole to pothole, but I frequently travel around the country and I have not seen any roads that compare to Pima County.
When I walk the dog along Massingale Road, I watch the cars swerve to miss the potholes, and often come close to kids that walk to school on that street. Potential tragedy? Of course! I get it that money is needed so please raise my taxes so I do not have to cry when I hear about the tragedy that will occur. Are our government leaders that stupid, and are our neighbors that heartless to not pay a little more in taxes? Do it for our kids!
