Re: the Aug. 5 article "Pivotal inspection for PCC weeks off."

I am very concerned about the future of Pima Community College. I came to the University of Arizona in 1970, and was introduced to PCC leadership and cooperated in a number of successful programs that benefited both our institutions. We did so with the full support of our senior administrators. In addition, my daughter got her nursing degree from PCC and took the same national exam that UA nursing graduates take, and passed it. She later finished her BS degree with distinction.

I realize that PCC has to meet the accreditor requirements, but PCC should also get the support of the expertise at the University of Arizona, and I have not heard of anything like this happening.
