We vote a secret ballot for a reason, because our vote, how we vote and who we vote for have always been done with a right to privacy. 26 States thus far have told Trump and Kobach they will not be turning over personal voter records, name, address, year of birth, party registration, who you voted for and initially your SSN. They also initially promised to share this information with anyone who wanted it then recanted at the reaction, and said they would keep it safe (no mention whether FOIA request could deliver it into anyone's hands or who would be keeper of the keys given Russia's apparent ability to roam the halls of our government at will). Even Kobach's own state is not turning over the information, but he is on a witch hunt and Trump has joined the hunt, still smarting at his loss of the popular vote. This is an outrage. I am calling on my representative and senator in Arizona to please not let this happen.
