The Star recently published an editorial from CJ Karamargin

implying that the protest against Rep. Martha McSally has been uncivil and promoting violence. Many of us wrote to the Star to explain that the protests have been peaceful. I have never experienced any of the incivility that CJ is writing about. People are holding signs that are civil but strongly against McSally's very conservative votes in Congress. I have called McSally's office and never cursed or threatened. The ads on TV have been information about her votes and were not a call for violence. Has Mr. Karamargin forgotten that his country was founded on the principle of free speech? Why does he think that all free speech has become a threat to violence? Does he think it is a threat to McSally to air the truth about the impact of her votes? It is time for the Star to, once again, stop protecting Martha McSally and publish in the paper the rebuttal to these accusations.
