A cradle built by Mrs. Poole's father for her daughters now serves as a blanket box in the master bedroom. On the wall are articles collected by the Pooles, including an embroidered hat and tooled silver cigarette case which Mr. Poole brought back from Persia where he was stationed during World War II. Desert birds by Ann Bebe decorate tiles in the bathroom beyond. Photo originally ran in the Tucson Citizen Around Your Home section in 1960.
