The Daily Show is mocking outgoing Arizona Senator Jeff Flake today, offering a blanket made out of his tweets.ย
"Introducing the Jeff Flake Comfort Blanketโข โ Warm yourself in the soft embrace of Senator Flake's meaningless tweets," the late night comedy showย tweeted today from its official twitter account.ย
As part of the tweet, the Daily Show attached multiple photos of comicย Roy Wood Jr. wrapped up in a white blanket adorned with various tweets from Flake's account.ย
The tweet puts a spotlight on Flake's frequent criticism for President Donald Trump and his administration, and his voting record that has largely supported the Republican administration.
The tweet comes out on the same day the Flake revealed that his family has received threats since he asked the Senate Judiciary Committee to hear testimony from Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, the Associated Press reported.
Kavanaugh denies the allegation.
