There’s a chance Tucson could hit 90 degrees for the first time this year, forecasters say.

“The warmest day this week still on track to be Thursday,” the National Weather Service in Tucson said on Facebook.

There a 50% chance of doing so, the weather service said. Friday’s high temperature is expected to be 88.

But the expected high in Tucson will dip back to the mid-80s through the weekend, the forecast says.
