Roberto Garcia limits his time on stage - he is an attorney with the Tucson Public Defenders office - but when he does perform, he impresses. Here, Garcia, a graduate of the University of Arizona theater school, performs a scene from Victor Hugo Rascon Banda's play 'Absence/El Ausente,' which Borderlands Theater staged in 2015. It was presented in both English and Spanish. Garcia's monologue is in Spanish, allowing the passion and the pain of the character to shine through.
