Salpointe Catholic's boys basketball team routed No. 18 Tempe Marcos de Niza 81-51 on Thursday night at home in the first round of the Division II state tournament. No. 15 Salpointe advanced to the second round where they'll play No. 2 Avondale Agua Fria Friday. The Star caught up with some of the Lancers after the big postseason win.
