Re: Opinion by Jeff Hartman, Trump has been elected. What do we do now? My response is smile and relax. The geopolitical, border, economical, and societal messes that developed during the Biden administration will be addressed by the Trump administration and hopefully resolved before his term is up.
β’ I am confident the geopolitical mess with Ukraine, the Middle East (Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran), North Korea, China, and Russia will be brought under control using direct negotiation.
β’ I believe the border mess will be dramatically reduced. Illegal aliens that have committed crimes will be jailed and then deported. If they return and are caught, jailed for an extended period. Border patrol agents will patrol the border and not be a welcoming service.
β’ The increase in private energy, technology, and manufacturing development will lead the way to improving our economic mess.
β’ Freedom of speech, respect for individual rights, and advancement based on merit, not based on race, religion, age, or sex will go a long way towards easing our societal mess.
