The return of baseball to Tucson is something to celebrate indeed! As the team is part of a Mexican baseball league, the name of the team should reflect not just Tucson, but also the heritage Tucson shares with Mexico's far north. To that end, the name I propose is the "Tucson Presidios." For a logo, I recommend a drawing of the reconstructed Presidio bastion that now serves as a museum. That way, Tucsonans can connect with their own history every game, and people viewing games south of the border can be reminded how much Tucson appreciates our shared history.
