Trump Impeachment (copy)
Letter: Parody about the former Prez
Uung to the tune of Rick James' "Super Freak."
He was a very sleazy prez,
The kind that doesn't like a brother.
He did not let his disciples down,
With his January tweet.
He likes the Proud Boys and the Klan.
He says that they’re his all time favorite.
When they searched in every room
For his own Veep, he had us on our knees.
He said it would be wild, wow.
He was fond of Q Anon.
It was the wettest of wet dreams
For all of the white supremes.
That prep was pretty sleazy.
That prez’s a super creep.
I’d really like to bash him,
If we meet up on the street.
He's Alt Right, he's Alt Right
That prez’s Alt Right you see, yeah.
With his bronzer and combover.
He was very mean to all his beauty queens.
Such a sleazy scene.
He spewed more fake news
Than all of Putin’s cyber crews.
Told us to insert sunlight, bleach, a Goya bean,
And hydroxychloroquine.
While quarantining in a limousine.

Letter: impeachment
So trying to violently overthrow the government because you lost an election isn't impeachable? Trying to nullify an election isn't impeachable? Then what would be impeachable? Lying about sex like Clinton would be?

Letter: Is this a great country or what?
What does it say about us as a country when someone who is obviously guilty and who is represented by foolish and inept lawyers is acquitted before the trial even begins? Not to mention the fact that some of the "impartial jurors" were accessories to the crime.
I used to believe that the United States was the greatest country on Earth. I think for now, I'll go with the "or what."

Letter: Re: the Feb. 14. article “Letters to the Editor”
While standard criminal defense strategies (Lack of Proof, Alibi, Self-defense, Consent, Insanity, Under the Influence, and Entrapment) didn’t seem to work for the ex-president. We have seen the "morally responsible but not guilty strategy" work when all else failed. Of course only the morally irresponsible used it.

Letter: Mcconnell was disengenuous
If Mitch Mcconnell truly felt that former president Trump was responsible for the January 6th breaching of the Capital yet that trying him in the Senate after he left office was unconstitutional, wouldn't abstaining rather than voting to acquit have been a more responsible action?

Letter: Impeachment Outcome
Having been acquitted by a jury of his co-conspirators, Trump (**) can now join forces with OJ Simpson to find the real killers.

Letter: A Metaphor for the Times
A metaphor for the times...A man bought a pit bull and trained him for 4 years to attack people with blue hats. While walking the dog down the sidewalk without a leash they came upon an innocent bystander with a blue hat and the dog attacked him, causing serious injuries. Even if he did not order the dog to attack the man, he would be held legally and morally responsible. He would face consequences and we would do whatever we could to prevent this from happening again. This is how a civilized society works.

Letter: Sen Sinema’s disregard of constituents
I have contacted Sen Sinema twice this past week, once about the $15 min wage vote and once about convicting Trump. Just received a letter from her, explaining COVID-19. That’s some swell constituent service - like I was the only person contacting her about minimum wage and impeachment this week. You would think she could just get an intern to draft a variety of topical form letters so it looks like she gives a rip.
