Tucson does not have a population that lends itself to a multi-generational fan base capable of supporting a booster club team with year after year bowl success. Yet some fans tend to expect that a program such as this SHOULD be able to do so. Who’s to blame? Who knows. Perhaps its time to get back to basics. The beginning of a Sonoran desert fall. The lure of a NIGHT game. The roar of a home crowd, NOT a scoreboard. The UNEXPECTED upset of a rival team. These are college kids playing in a system that devours the money of EXPECTANT fans. I find my pleasure in a beer and an occassional good play or surprise NFL contender (and the Band). I guess being a native Tucsonan, I am used to seeing the ebb and flow of a surprise 3-4star recruit. Meh... There’s always next year. At least we whooped up on those devils/ducks/bruins/etc... Now, lets talk about the price of tickets!
