A series on the pope’s encyclical on the environment continues at Our Mother of Sorrows Parish, 1800 S. Kolb Road, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21.

Edella Schlager, a professor with the University of Arizona’s School of Government and Public Policy, will speak Monday on “The Human Roots of the Ecological Crisis: A Prophetic View of Our Disconnected World.”
