Goldman Sachs data shows AI is eliminating approximately 16,000 US jobs every month, with Gen Z bearing the heaviest burden: employment among software developers aged 22–25 has dropped nearly 20% since 2022. A new Gallup poll finds 18% of all American workers believe their job could be eliminated by AI within five years, rising to 23% at companies that have already adopted AI. Nearly 80,000 tech workers were laid off in Q1 2026 alone. WooGlobe Ref : WGA710761
