NATO members boost defence spending to cut reliance on US
Amid Donald Trump’s renewed threats to take the US out of NATO, European nations who are a part of the alliance are already taking steps to be less dependent on the United States. NATO allies are trying to reduce their reliance on the US for weapons imports and have significantly increased their defense spending in the past year.
