Valencia Road, on Saturday, June 28, 2014, in Tucson, Ariz. During the event, the museum stays open after regular business hours for aircraft viewing and activities from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Kids and parents got to build airplanes out of paper and styrofoam plates and explore the museums more than 150 outdoor aircraft at dusk. During Tucson's furnace of a summer many of the city's main attractions shift their business hours to accommodate visitors during the cooler evening hours.Β

One neat attraction that has gone all-in on this concept is the Pima Air and Space Museum, 6000 E. Valencia Road, which will hold its Night Wings evening hours this Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The museum's main exhibits will be open, with the entire grounds open until sundown. There are educational activities in all of the hangars and the museum's Flight Grill is open for dinner.Β

Admission is cheaper than during the day, $10 for adults and free for children under 12.Β
