The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation department will offer an all-day Kidco program this coming week for currently registered participants to help families during the teacher walkout.
Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for $5 per child, per day to be paid on site.
Meals will not be provided. You'll need to send two snacks and a lunch.
Kidco will only be available at the following locations:
Archer Recreation Center, 1665 S. La Cholla Blvd., serving Borton Magnet School
Cherry Avenue Center, 5085 S. Cherry Ave.
El Pueblo Center, 101 W. Irvington Road, serving Grijalva and Warren elementary schools
Santa Rosa recreation Center, 1080 S. 10th Ave., serving Miles Elementary School
Marty Bridman Center, 2536 N. Castro Street
Udall Recreation Center, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road, serving Bloom and Davidson elementary schools
El Rio Neighborhood Center, 1390 W. Speedway
Clements Recreation Center, 8155 E. Poinciana Drive, serving Mesquite and Senita Valley elementary schools
Randolph Recreation Center, 200 S. Alvernon Way, serving Robison Elementary School
St. Ambrose Catholic School, 300 S. Tucson Blvd.
