Nimbus Brewery south of Tucson buzzes with activity on a Thursday evening in 2009.

The second oldest brewery in the city after Dennis Arnold’s Gentle Ben’s/Barrio Brewing empire, Nimbus comes with heaps of character and features a giant hand holding a beer mug on the outer wall of its building. Having been around as long as it has (since 1996), Nimbus is a bit removed from the growing batch of recent craft brewery owners, but who hasn’t had one of their Dirty Guera ales or Oatmeal Stouts?
