Arizona State head coach Bobby Hurley believes the Wildcats traveled one of their second half scores in their Pac12 opener against Arizona at McKale Center, January 4, 2020.

In order to free up the last week of the regular season,ย Arizona's scheduled March 6 game against ASU is being moved to next Monday at McKale Center.

The game will tip at 9 p.m and be televised by ESPN2 as part of its "Big Monday" coverage. It is possible that Dave Pasch and Bill Walton will handle the call, as they are scheduled to Thursday at 7 p.m. when UA and ASU meet in Tempe for the first game of the season series.

With the change, the last scheduled game as of now on UA's schedule is a Feb. 27 home date with Washington. There's no telling who or where the Wildcats will play the following week, but so far they have a postponed game at Oregon and a nonconference spot open.ย

However, the Pac-12 could ask Oregon to play UA and/or ASU twice during the Feb. 11-13 weekend that the Ducks are already scheduled to visit Arizona, leaving Arizona's last week open for any further postponements that develop over the next five weeks. As it is now, Oregon is being asked to play at UCLA twice, Jan. 28 and Feb. 1, while playing USC in between.

The Pac-12 initially scheduled all its teams to play only its geographic rival during the final week of the regular season but has now been getting all teams to move the second game up. Colorado and Utahย already moved upย their March 6 game in Salt Lake City to last Monday.
