The University of Arizona baseball team dropped its second straight game in Seattle to start Pac-12 play, losing 1-0 at Washington on Saturday afternoon.

The Wildcats (10-8, 0-2 Pac-12) have lost six games this season by one run.

Kaiser Weiss singled with the bases loaded off Michael Flynn (2-1) to snap a 0-0 tie and end the game in the bottom of the ninth.

UA starter Randy Labaut tossed 5 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out three to lower his ERA to 1.73.

Lucas Knowles allowed three hits over 7 2/3 innings for Washington (9-8, 2-0). UA was held to four hits in the loss, with Nick Quintana’s double the only one for extra bases.

The teams wrap up their three-game set at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
