The Cal baseball team battered UA pitchers for the second straight night Saturday, winning 16-6 in Berkeley, Calif.

UA took a 4-0 lead in the third, but Cal answered with five runs in its half of the inning. Arizona went up 6-5 in the sixth, but the Golden Bears quickly answered with four runs to go up 9-6.

The Golden Bears broke the game open with six runs in the eighth.

Seve Romo homered for Arizona (29-19, 10-13 Pac-12), which was held to five hits as a team. Zach Stone (1-1) took the loss in relief after starter Michael Flynn gave up six runs in five innings.

Cal hit three homers in the win and had 15 hits. Four different players drove in at least two runs.

The Golden Bears (28-19, 13-13) won the series opener 9-3 on Friday. The teams wrap up the three-game series with a contest at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.
