Wisconsin-Milwaukee scored seven runs in the fifth inning en route to a 10-4 win over the UA baseball team at Hi Corbett Field on Saturday night.

UA fell to 7-4 and has lost four of six since a 5-0 start. The Panthers improved to 6-2.

Austin Wells was 3 for 3 with a walk in the loss. Cameron Cannon was 2 for 4 with a homer, while Matt Fraizer and Matthew Dyer also added two hits.

Starter Bryce Collins (0-1) took the loss, allowing five runs β€” three earned β€” in 4ΒΊ innings.

The Wildcats scored three times in the bottom of the second to take a 4-2 lead. The Panthers, who had 15 total hits, went up 9-4 in the fifth and added the final run in the seventh.

UA had 14 hits. The teams meet in the rubber match of the three-game series at 11 a.m. Saturday.
