Deandre Ayton (Phoenix Suns)

Former Arizona Wildcats superstar Deandre Ayton will have a private workout with the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday..

This will be the first time Ayton has practiced in front of scouts during the pre-draft process. He didn't participate in the NBA draft combine in May.

The Suns have the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft and while Ayton has been projected to be the top pick, this will be an opportunity to showcase his talents and athletic abilities on the court.

UA head coach Sean Miller said during a press conference last week that Ayton should be a lock at No. 1.

“I look at the NBA as trying to figure out who they’re going to pick from No. 2 to 60. I think the No. 1 pick’s in,” Miller said. “There’s nobody like Deandre. Nobody.”

There will be media availability following Ayton's workout. Follow @TheWildcaster on Twitter for up-to-the-minute updates.
