The FBI's investigation into federal corruption within several college basketball programs has ensnared many top teams, including Arizona.
And now, apparently, Alabama.
Crimson Tide athletic director Greg Byrne has performed an "internal review" of the men's basketball team. As a result, Alabama assistant coach and administrator Kobie Baker resigned Wednesday.
Byrne released a statement.

There is no confirmation that Alabama is indeed one of the programs involved in the FBI investigation, but an abrupt resignation in a timely manner raises questions. Byrne said that he couldn't identify "NCAA or SEC rules" that had been broken.
Coincidentally, Byrne served as the UA's athletic director until February and was instrumental in the Wildcats' retention of basketball coach Sean Miller. The two remain close friends.
