Former Tucson high school basketball player Achol Magot announced Wednesday she is transferring from Texas Tech to Arizona.

"I'm coming home," she posted.

Arizona later Wednesday confirmed that Magot had signed.

Born in South Sudan, Magot attended Salpointe Catholic High School, Sunnyside High School, and Southern Arizona Prep. She averaged 13.8 points, 12.6 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 3.9 blocks per game over 16 games with Southern Arizona Prep.

According to ELV8 Sports Promotions, the 6-7 Magot has been dealing with a serious knee injury. She joined Texas Tech in 2023-24 but did not play in a game.

In 2024-25, Magot played in nine games, averaging 0.7 points and 1.4 rebounds. She attended but did not play in Arizona's game against Texas Tech on Feb. 25.
