University of Arizona vs Oregon State

Arizona guard Rawle Alkins roars after a steal and a slam helped the Wildcats finally build a lead against a determined Oregon State in the second half at McKale Center,.

Rawle Alkins will have the chance to showcase his talents in front of the back-to-back world champion Golden State Warriors in a pre-NBA draft workout on Tuesday, per Adam Zagoria of The New York Times.

Alkins posted on his Instagram story "The Golden State California" location tag, indicating that he is in California.

Currently, the Warriors' only pick in the draft is in the first round at No. 28 overall, and Alkins has been mentioned as a possible late first-round pick. Recently, though, he's been projected to fall somewhere in the second round.Β

There are worse teams to be drafted by than the Warriors, a franchise that just won its third NBA championship in four years and has done so with a load of Pac-12 talent. Andre Iguodala (Arizona), Klay Thompson (Washington State), Nick Young (USC), Jordan Bell (Oregon) and Kevon Looney (UCLA) all had significant roles in Golden State's run at the title this season.Β

Bell made the most out of his opportunity after the Chicago Bulls used a second-round pick on him in 2017 and then traded him to the Warriors for $3.5 million. Bell started 13 games for the Warriors and averaged 4.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game as a rookie, also having a significant role off the bench.

Outside of Golden State, Alkins also worked out for the Suns, Kings, Timberwolves and Hawks. Alkins' workout will also be on the same day as the Warriors' championship parade in Oakland.Β
