Arizona remained No. 3 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, after beating Southern, Belmont and Texas-Arlington over the past week.

The Wildcats had jumped from No. 12 to No. 3 last week after winning at Duke on Nov. 10. They'll face Michigan State on Thursday in Thousand Palms, Calif., but the Spartans dropped from 18 to 21 after losing to Duke last week.

MSU was ranked No. 4 in the preseason poll but dropped precipitously after losing to James Madison in its Nov. 6 season opener.

Of the Wildcats' other nonconference opponents this season, Purdue stayed at No. 2 behind No. 1 Kansas while Duke stayed at No. 9 and Alabama moved from 22 to 17.

Among Pac-12 teams, Colorado jumped from 25 to 18, while USC fell from 16 to 23. UCLA picked up the 30th most points in voting.

FWIW, here isΒ my ballot.

The Pac-12 named Utah's Branden Carlson its Player of the Week and USC's Isaiah Collier its Freshman of the Week, after Arizona nominated Kylan Boswell for POW and Motiejus Krivas for FOW.

Carlson averaged 23.3 points and 6.7 rebounds while shooting 45.8% in three games against high-major teams -- Utah beat Wake Forest but lost to Houston and St. John's -- while also blocking five shots against Wake Forest.

Boswell averaged 13.0 points and 4.7 assists in UA's wins over Southern, Belmont and Texas-Arlington last week while shooting 60.0% from the field.

Collier picked up his second Freshman of the Week award after combining for 47 points in USC's loss to UC Irvine and a win over Brown. Krivas averaged 14.0 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 73.9% from the field and recording three steals and four blocks during the week.
