Five-star 2025 Canadian wing Will Riley set a June 23 decision date, with Illinois appearing in the lead over Arizona, Alabama, Kansas and the New Zealand Breakers.
Riley is expected to reclassify to 2024 and therefore would not likely be a starter at Arizona, which has one remaining scholarship available for next season.
The Wildcats, meanwhile, are hosting highly regarded Italian wing Dame Sarr this weekend according to 247's Jason Scheer and Mike Luke of PHNX.
Sarr, who was one of 30 players invited to try out for Italy's Olympic qualifying team, spent last season with FC Barcelona (mostly for its U18 club), whose coach who left last week. Arizona assistant coach Riccardo Fois is spending the summer working with the Italian team.
