Devonaire Doutrive, Laurian Watkins

Combo guard Devonaire Doutrive and his guardian, Laurian Watkins, pose upon Doutrive's signing with Arizona on April 11, 2018.

Devonaire Doutrive isn't a frequent tweeter, but he's recently posted a flurry of items on his timeline about UA, updated his Twitter banner to a photo featuring the slogan "Arizona Basketball Never Stops" and posted an upbeat statement Thursday about signing with the Wildcats.

"I am looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life at the University of Arizona," Doutrive said in his statement.

Yep, it appears he wants to be in Tucson.

Doutrive will be the third player under the guardianship of Laurian Watkins to be playing in the Pac-12 next season.

Doutrive's brother, Devante, was a Utah freshman who sat out as a redshirt last season while a (non-blood) brother, Deschon Winston, is a guard for Cal.

Doesn't look like James Akinjo wants to be at Arizona, however.

Josh Gershon of 247Sports said Akinjo canceled his planned visit to UA this weekend, whileΒ Rivals indicates Georgetown could be his choice.Β

Akinjo, a former UConn commit, also canceled a visit to Tennessee.

Dusan Ristic collected a rebound on average every two minutes in his first Portsmouth Invitational game, but he was just 2 of 8 from the field with five points scored over 14 minutes.

Ristic will play again Friday at 12:15 p.m., when he'll be facing another 7-footer in Egyptian Anas Mahmoud of Louisville. The game will be streamed at Netcast Sports.
