Minnesota four-star forward Zeke Nnaji listed Arizona among his Top 5 finalists, after taking an exhaustive tour of unofficial visits over the late summer.

The first of the federal trials involving college basketball figures begins today, and Arizona has a peripheral link to it.

The trial involves Adidas reps Merl Code and James Gatto, along with agent Christian Dawkins. A federal complaint alleges that Code told Gatto that Arizona was offering $150,000 to a player β€” believed to be Nassir Little, now of North Carolina β€” and that Adidas needed to match the offer in order to keep the player from heading to Arizona.

What comes out of that trial is one of the questions facing Arizona as it began full practices Sunday.

The Wildcats will hold preseason interviews Monday, the first time they have been available since July.

During his official visit to Arizona over the weekend, Boogie Ellis had a chance to try on a Wildcat uniform.
