LOS ANGELES -- Arizona's 78-65 loss to USC meant the Wildcats might have to turn around and play the Trojans again Thursday.
USC (14-17 overall, 8-12) moved into the No. 9 spot, where it will face No. 8 Washington in the Pac-12 Tournament opening game on Wednesday at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena. The winner of that game will face Arizona (24-7, 15-5) in a quarterfinal game on Thursday at noon.
If the Wildcats win their quarterfinal game, they will face No. 4 Oregon, No. 5 UCLA, or No. 12 Oregon State in the semifinals on Friday at 5 p.m. The Pac-12 Tournament championship game is scheduled to tipoff at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
