Arizona landed a commitment from junior-college defensive lineman Bryce Butler for 2024.

Two days before the early signing period begins, the Arizona Wildcats picked up a commitment from junior-college defensive lineman Bryce Butler.

The 6-5, 295-pound Butler is rated by 247Sports.com as the 13th-best junior-college defensive lineman nationally. 

In one season at Garden City Community College in Kansas, the Toronto native logged 31 tackles, 13.5 stops for loss and five sacks.ย 

Including additions of former Indiana cornerback Jordan Shaw, UC Davis defensive tackle Chubba Maae and Tennessee safety Jack Luttrell through the transfer portal, Butler is the 21st commit of Arizona's 2024 recruiting class, which ranks eighth in the Big 12, per 247 Sports.ย 

The early signing period for the 2024 recruiting class is on Wednesday.ย
