The Arizona Wildcats have named Garin Justice of Florida Atlantic as their offensive line coach.

“I am very excited to bring Garin on staff to be a part of our football program,” UA coach Rich Rodriguez said in a news release issued at 9 p.m.  the day before the start of the early signing period. “He is a former player and coach of mine who has done a great job everywhere he has been. Garin will be an excellent fit for our program and I know our players will enjoy playing for him. We look forward to having him join us here soon at the bowl site.”

Justice was a three-year starting tackle for Rodriguez at West Virginia from 2003-05. He then served as a graduate assistant under Rodriguez in ’06 before spending two seasons as a GA at Florida State.

Justice became an assistant coach at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia, for two years before taking over as the head coach. The Mountain Lions went 40-17 in Justice’s five seasons.

Justice just completed his second season at FAU. Under first-year coach Lane Kiffin, the Owls were ranked ninth in the nation in scoring (39.8 points per game) entering the Boca Raton Bowl on Tuesday night. They were the champions of Conference USA.

Justice replaces Jim Michalczik, who left earlier this month to become the offensive line coach and associate head coach at Oregon State.
