Arizona’s latest hot streak of 2025 commits added an in-state prospect: three-star Phoenix defensive lineman Kaleb Jones.

Arizona's latest hot streak of 2025 commits added an in-state prospect on Monday: three-star Phoenix defensive lineman Kaleb Jones.

Jones, a Mountain Pointe High School standout, committed to Arizona over Arizona State, Oregon and Oregon State after visiting the UA earlier this month.

The 6-1, 275-pound Jones is rated by 247Sports.com as the 169th-best defensive lineman nationally and the 22nd-best overall prospect from Arizona. In three seasons at Mountain Pointe, Jones has 54 tackles, 19.5 stops for loss and 7.5 sacks.

Jones is the third in-state prospect in Arizona's 2025 recruiting class, along with three-star Gilbert Higley quarterback Luke Haugo and Chandler Hamilton defensive back Dajon Hinton, who flipped from ASU over the weekend.

Arizona currently has 13 recruits for its 2025 recruiting class. Ten of those recruits landed in June.

Between Sunday night and Monday, Arizona added five recruits for 2025 with Jones, Hinton, three-star Texas safety Allen Gant, three-star Texas cornerback Swayde Griffin and Los Angeles-area offensive lineman Sione Tohi and San Francisco offensive lineman Losipini Tupou.

According to 247Sports.com's recruiting database, Arizona's 13-player '25 class currently ranks ninth in the Big 12.
