Arizona will start second-year quarterback Noah Fifita on Saturday against No. 11 Oregon State. It's the second straight game Fifita will start over initial starter Jayden de Laura, who missed the Washington and USC games with an ankle injury he sustained in the UA's win at Stanford.Β

The Wildcats return fifth-year senior running back Michael Wiley, who also suffered an ankle injury at Stanford, is active Saturday against OSU.Β

Fifita, a two-time Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, started in place of de Laura in the Wildcats' 44-6 win over Washington State two weeks ago. Since the fourth quarter of the Stanford, Fifita completed 90 of 121 passes (74%) for 924 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions β€” and his passing yards have incrementally improved for three weeks.

Wiley, who is also the Wildcats' primary kick returner, has 176 rushing yards, 132 receiving yards and one touchdown this season.Β
