The College of San Mateo-Arizona pipeline added another player for the 2024 recruiting class, after wide receiver Jeremiah Patterson committed to the Wildcats on Sunday

The 5-10, 178-pound junior-college standout chose the UA over San Jose State, Ohio, UNLV and Georgia State, among others. The Wildcats added former College of San Mateo defensive end Cyrus Durham and cornerback Johno Price in the spring. Old Dominion transfer wide receiver Reymello Murphy, who transferred to the UA earlier this month, also played at College of San Mateo.

In two seasons at College of San Mateo in Northern California, Patterson caught 90 passes for 1,118 yards and 15 touchdowns as the Bulldogs' slot receiver.

After losing slot receiver Kevin Green Jr. to Washington, the Wildcats added Murphy, who was 27th in FBS in yards per catch last season, and Patterson. Arizona’s receiver room also includes potential first-round pick and sure-fire preseason Biletnikoff Award hopeful Tetairoa McMillan, veteran Montana Lemonious-Craig and budding talent in Malachi Riley, Devin Hyatt, Chris Hunter and Brandon Phelps, among others.

Arizona kicks off the 2024 season against New Mexico on Aug. 31 at Arizona Stadium.
