Vanilla Vick is back in Tucson.
Arizona has added B.J. Denker to its staff as an analyst, filling the role vacated by former analyst Miguel Reveles, who departed for California earlier this offseason.
Denker is a former Arizona quarterback who spent the last two years on Kevin Sumlin's staff at Texas A&M as an offensive graduate assistant. Before that, Denker spent the 2014 season at Arizona as a student assistant.
In 2013, Denker had a solid season as Arizona's starting quarterback, producing 2,516 passing yards, 949 rushing yards and 29 total touchdowns. Denker joined the Wildcats as a junior college transfer from Cerritos College and backed up Matt Scott during UA coach Rich Rodriguez's first year in Tucson.

Denker, who has already started working, famously carried the nickname "Vanilla Vick" while he played for the Wildcats, a play on his running capabilities as a quarterback, the Vick, of course, referencing longtime NFL quarterback Michael Vick.
