Arizona Wildcats are among five other schools to land three-star 2019 safety William Nimmo. Nimmo announced his final six programs on Twitter Monday evening and UA will join Cal, UCLA, Washington State, Oregon State and Florida as possible schools to land him.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Nimmo is listed as the No. 59 safety, per 247 Sports composite rankings and is about to enter his senior season at Southern California powerhouse Mater Dei in Santa Ana.
Arizona already has one former Mater Dei player in redshirt freshman Xavier Bell who will compete for significant minutes over the summer.
Nimmo hinted on Twitter that he could announce his decision on Wednesday, July 4. Nimmo could become Arizona's first recruit of the 2019 class from the Los Angeles area if he commits to UA. So far Arizona has commits from Houston, Dallas, Fresno, Tucson and Phoenix.
