Former Arizona Wildcats running back Orlando Bradford told police that he has anger issues and has abused women following last week’s claims of domestic violence from two women.

Tucson Police Department officials released details Tuesday in a second woman’s claims of abuse.

Bradford, 20, was arrested last Wednesday on seven domestic violence-related felonies after a woman called police to say that he’d strangled and held her against her will on multiple occasions, police records show.

The next morning, a second woman came forward who said she was in a relationship with Bradford between January and September 9, during which he abused her on multiple occasions, according to the Tucson Police Department’s investigative report.

The woman told police that Bradford strangled her once in January, twice during the summer, and again on Sept. 1, and produced photographs of her injuries, the report said.

During the most recent incident, a woman came home from work to find Bradford outside her door. He grabbed her and ordered her into her apartment before slapping her in the face and choking her, the report said.

She told police that Bradford apologized after each incident and was manipulative, but she didn’t report the incidents because she was trying to finish school. Bradford told the woman that he would harm her if she called police, the report states.

Police obtained an arrest warrant shortly after speaking to the woman and re-booked Bradford, who was still in jail, on four additional felony charges of domestic violence aggravated assault.

Bradford told police that he pushed and grabbed the woman, but he denied strangling or hitting her, the report said.

Bradford is being held in jail on a $40,000 bond, and has a court date scheduled later in the month.
