Former Arizona kicker Lucas Havrisik signed with the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday, reported ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.Β

Havrisik was kicking for the Cleveland Browns' practice squad and will replace veteran Brett Maher, who was 1-for-3 on field goals and missed his only PAT attempt in the Rams' 24-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.Β Rams face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at 10 a.m.Β

Havrisik spent the 2022 season and '23 training camp with the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad, before he was waived on the final round of roster cuts in August. Three days later, Havrisik signed with Cleveland's practice squad.Β

Under three head coaches β€” Rich Rodriguez, Kevin Sumlin and Jedd Fisch β€” in five seasons at Arizona, the Norco, California native was 34-for-53 (64.2%) at field goals and 73-for-78 (94%) at PATs. Havrisik still holds the UA record for longest field goal (57 yards).

Havrisik is one of two former UA kickers in the NFL, joining veteran Nick Folk, who is kicking for the Tennessee Titans this season.Β Β
