Dash Beierly

A day after Arizona won its fifth straight game of the season, the Wildcats picked up a verbal commitment from three-star Southern California quarterback Dash BeierlyΒ on Sunday.

Beierly, a junior at Chaparral High School in Temecula, California, pledged to the UA over Washington, BYU, Utah, BYU, Cal, Oregon State, Miami, Pittsburgh and SMU, among others. He announced his commitment on his social media platforms.Β 

The 6-1, 215-pound Beierly is the fourth high school quarterback commit of the Jedd Fisch era, joining Noah Fifita, Brayden Dorman and top in-state quarterback Demond Williams, who is expected to sign with the Wildcats' 2024 recruiting class in December.Β 

In three seasons at Chaparral, Beierly has passed for 4,782 yards, 41 touchdowns and 16 interceptions, while rushing for 929 yards and 16 touchdowns.Β 

Beierly is the second commit of Arizona's '25 recruiting class, along with three-star Georgia tight end Bryce Lewis.Β
