The Arizona Wildcats' unlikely run through the NCAA Golf Championships continued Tuesday. As a result, the eighth-seeded Wildcats will play for a national championship Wednesday at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Haley Moore won her match 3&2, allowing the UA to beat fifth-seeded Stanford 3-0 in the match play semifinals. Sandra Nordaas won her match 6&4, and Gigi Stoll won 5&3.

The Wildcats advance to take on Alabama. The third-seeded Crimson Tide beat USC in Tuesday's other semifinal to advance.  Arizona is looking for its first national championship in women's golf since 2000.

Arizona's win over Stanford was its second upset win of the day. The Wildcats stunned top-seeded UCLA 3-2 on Tuesday morning, advancing to the NCAA women's golf semifinals.

For the second time in as many days, Bianca Pagdangdanan played the hero.

Pagdanganan made eagle on the par-5 18th at Karsten Creek that got Arizona into a playoff for the final spot in quarterfinals. She sunk a birdie putt on the 18th hole to top UCLA's Patty Tavatanakit on the 18th hole. Haley Moore won her match 3 and 1, and Gigi Stoll took her match 2-up.

Stanford beat Northwestern when Andrea Lee won the final match for a 3-2 victory by the Cardinal.

USC defeated Duke, 3-1-1, to advance to the semifinals against Alabama, a 4-1 winner over Kent State.
