Tee times for the golf pros are set for the Cologuard Classic pro-am Wednesday and Thursday at Omni Tucson National Resort.

Mark Calcavecchia is scheduled to play with the first group on the first tee, at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday. Other notable players participating in the pro-am Wednesday include Larry Mize (8:20, Tee No. 1), Steve Stricker (8:30, No. 1), Jerry Kelly (11:30, No. 1) and Lee Janzen (11:40, No. 1).

Kelly’s group includes Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Kelly is from Madison, Wisconsin, and the two have been friends for several years.

Additional participants include new Arizona Wildcats football coach Kevin Sumlin, former UA baseball standout – and newly elected member of the Baseball Hall of Fame – Trevor Hoffman and former Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien.

Sumlin and Hoffman are slated to play with Scott Verplank at 8 a.m. Wednesday, starting on the first tee.

Thursday’s lineup features Billy Mayfair (7:10 a.m., No. 1), Jesper Parnevik (7:50, No. 10), John Daly (8, No. 1), Colin Montgomerie (8:30, No. 1), Jose Maria Olazabal (8:30, No. 10), Hale Irwin (11:30, No. 1), Mark O’Meara (11:30, No. 10), Bernhard Langer (11:40, No. 1), Stricker (11:40, No. 10), Vijay Singh (11:50, No. 1), David Toms (11:50, No. 10) and defending champion Tom Lehman (1:10 p.m., No. 1).

Tickets for the pro-am are $20 and include free shuttle service from the Foothill Malls parking lot.

The three-day Cologuard Classic begins Friday morning.
