Five-star point guard Nico Mannion in the class of 2020 listed Arizona as a finalist among nine other schools. The Pinnacle High School (Phoenix) product announced his list via Twitter on Monday.

Mannion also listed Duke, Kansas, Oregon, Utah, UCLA, Villanova, Marquette, Vanderbilt and USC. Mannion was on the UA campus last week for an unofficial visit.

The 6-foot-3 Mannion is the No. 2 point guard, per 247Sports' rankings for the 2020 class, and has been taking online summer classes while playing for the Italian national team. He is planning to reclassify to 2019. Mannion currently has Italian and American citizenships, and hopes to play for Italy in the 2020 Olympics, per AZ Central's Richard Obert.

"That will be big for me," Mannion told Obert. "I can learn from guys who are veterans in the league, playing a different style of basketball. It's a physical style, but it's still pretty fast-paced."

As a sophomore at Pinnacle, Mannion averaged 24.3 points, 5.8 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game, leading the Pioneers to their first state championship in school history.

Here are highlights of Mannion playing for his AAU team, West Coast Elite:
