There may not be a more appropriate Pac-12 player to assess the conference’s chances of getting a Final Four team this season than Dylan Ennis.

The Oregon guard has played a full six seasons of college ball, gaining the sixth year after he was hurt early last season after arriving as a grad transfer route. He’s played in the Big East Conference with Villanova, gaining all-tournament honors in 2015, and in Conference USA with Rice, where he earned all-freshman honors back in 2011-12.

He’s been around.

So when Ennis says the Pac-12 can get multiple teams in the Final Four, he has some perspective in doing so.

Here’s his argument for each one:

Arizona (No. 2 West): β€œArizona’s a well-oiled machine. They know what they’re doing. They don’t do things they’re not used to doing, and they have a great coach in Sean Miller.”

UCLA (No. 3 South): β€œThey just do so much stuff. They have great guard play. They have great experience. They have all the pieces you need.”

Oregon (No. 3 Midwest): β€œWe stay together and play tough. We’ve got a lot of tough guys with a lot of experience. If we just stick to that, we’ll be good. A lot of teams get to the tournament and stop doing what they did to get there. If we stick to what we’ve done, we’ll be successful.”
