There may not be a more appropriate Pac-12 player to assess the conferenceβs chances of getting a Final Four team this season than Dylan Ennis.
The Oregon guard has played a full six seasons of college ball, gaining the sixth year after he was hurt early last season after arriving as a grad transfer route. Heβs played in the Big East Conference with Villanova, gaining all-tournament honors in 2015, and in Conference USA with Rice, where he earned all-freshman honors back in 2011-12.
Heβs been around.
So when Ennis says the Pac-12 can get multiple teams in the Final Four, he has some perspective in doing so.
Hereβs his argument for each one:
Arizona (No. 2 West): βArizonaβs a well-oiled machine. They know what theyβre doing. They donβt do things theyβre not used to doing, and they have a great coach in Sean Miller.β
UCLA (No. 3 South): βThey just do so much stuff. They have great guard play. They have great experience. They have all the pieces you need.β
Oregon (No. 3 Midwest): βWe stay together and play tough. Weβve got a lot of tough guys with a lot of experience. If we just stick to that, weβll be good. A lot of teams get to the tournament and stop doing what they did to get there. If we stick to what weβve done, weβll be successful.β
