Cavaliers guard Ricky Rubio's season is finished.
Rubio was carried off the floor by teammates Kevin Love and Isaac Okoro in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's game in New Orleans. An MRI administered on Wednesday confirmed that Rubio has a torn ACL in his left knee, an injury that will end his season.
Rubio is on a one-year deal with the Cavs and can be a free agent after this season. In 34 games, he had turned into a key contributor while averaging 13.1 points and 6.6 assists per game.
It's a tough blow for the Cavs, who with Rubio's help have been the most surprising team in the NBA thus far.
